This collection is composed of material collected by Larry R. Richardson regarding Paul J. Adams. Included are letters from Adams to Richardson during 1972-1977; three cassette tapes from Adams; three photographs of Adams; and copies of Adams’ book "Mt. LeConte" as well as a copy of Richardson’s "Cumberland Plateau Self-Guiding Nature Trail" booklet.

These documents are representative of Lynn Faust's participation in efforts to preserve Elkmont.

This collection includes articles, images, videos, and personal writings pertaining to the Oakley family and the Smoky Mountains. Harvey Oakley (1918–2007), Wiley Oakley (1885–1954), and Rebecca Anne Ogle Oakley (1890–1980) are the main family members of focus.

This collection, the Paul J. Adams Papers, 1921-2016, is composed of early notes and manuscripts, correspondence from Paul J. Adams to Mrs. Arnold C. Moore (Theodosia Sister Moore), and a couple of items concerning Paul J. Adams' influence on the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The collection includes copies of Adams' book Mt. LeConte and relates to Adams and his 50th Anniversary hike up Mount LeConte in July 1975.

Philip and Ruth Ewald collected these newspapers, maps, and various proposals, reports, and recommendations documenting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The materials date from 1953 to 1984 and focus on a decision made in about 1965 to build a road on park land from Townsend to Bryson City. The collection also houses several drafts of a General Management Plan for the park and materials showing the discussion surrounding it.

This collection consists of 21 black and white pictures of the Great Smoky Mountains, various parks in Tennessee, trails, ducks, and fish. Many photographs include a description. The bulk of these photos look to be from the mid-1900s however no dates are given.

The collection consists of one folder with correspondence between Dr. Ralph M. Sargent and Carlos C. Campbell that mostly pertain to botany, nature, collaboration for Great Smoky Mountains Wildflowers, or personal correspondence.

This collection houses a wealth of photographs that Robert Coe took of various TVA projects in the 1940s in addition to several graphs and maps.
