Roberts Family Papers
This collection consists primarily of correspondence between Thomas Roberts and several members of his family dating from 1842 to 1913. Also included are genealogical records (including handwritten narratives and lists of births, deaths, and marriages), military papers, land records (documenting holdings in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Texas), sermons and religious reflections, and a scrapbook.
Sevier County Communities and Land Grants Research
Collection contains scans of documents listing the original land grants for Sevier County. These scans were likely made on August 19, 1976. Also included is a copy of a map displaying the original communities in Sevier County and a copy of a newspaper article describing how the list of land grants was recently made available to the public. All of the original documents were created circa 1970s.
Thomas Brantingham Letter
This collection contains one letter, dated January 12, 1816, from Thomas D. Brantingham to John Sanders, both of New York. Brantingham discusses property he has for sale, including land in Tennessee warranted by John Sevier.

With this indenture, William Dickson sells John Maloney Jr. 0.5 acres of land in Greeneville, Tennessee for $600.00. The reverse of the document bears a notation indicating that the sale was formally recorded in the Greene County Register's Office the following day.
