Robert T. Jones Letters
This collection houses fourteen letters sent to Robert T. Jones by friends and family serving in the Civil War. Ten of the letters are from James Thomas, and the others were written by John Williams, Daniel Thomas, and John T. Jones. Several of the letters describe the siege of Vicksburg and other battles. Most of the letters include news of other Welsh friends from Iowa. The collection also houses two photographs, one showing cannons and the other showing soldiers near rows of tents.
Roberts Family Papers
This collection consists primarily of correspondence between Thomas Roberts and several members of his family dating from 1842 to 1913. Also included are genealogical records (including handwritten narratives and lists of births, deaths, and marriages), military papers, land records (documenting holdings in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Texas), sermons and religious reflections, and a scrapbook.

Roy Gordon Collection
Roy Gordon's book titled Battleground (1978), an anecdotal account of the black platoon in the 47th Infantry Regiment of which Roy Gordon was a member during World War II. The collection also contains four handwritten, loose-leaf diary pages with six entries from Europe written between 1944-1945.
Second Ohio Heavy Artillery Roster and Muster Lists
A handwritten roster of commissioned officers of the 2nd Regiment Ohio Heavy Artillery. The roster includes names, date of muster, and some additional remarks such as deaths or resignations. Also included is a printed document with a roster of officers of the same unit.
Sidney Bishop Collection
The Sidney Bishop Collection, 1999-2003, contains reunion information on the 8th Armored Division that served during World War II. The collection includes a directory, as well as a history of the division.
Sinking of the Rohna by Don Fortune
This collection consists of a self-published book, Sinking of the Rohna: America's Worst Troopship Loss in World War II, by Don Fortune. The HMT Rohna was sunk in the Mediterranean on November 26, 1943 after being hit by a secret missile aimed from a German bomber. 1,015 American soldiers died.
Stephen W. Gibson Letter
In this letter to his brother Andrew J. Gibson, Stephen W. Gibson reports on his health, discusses his distaste for the three African American regiments stationed with his unit in Nashville, and asks for information about the activities of the Copperheads in his hometown.
