This collection is a typed memoir of Jack Brugh’s experiences during World War II, particularly as a prisoner of war in Germany. Brugh touches on his life prior to joining the military, his enlistment in 1943, basic training, and his time abroad in the European Theater of War. Brugh describes his imprisonment at Stalag IV-B during 1944-1945 following capture during the Battle of the Bulge and his subsequent escape and journey to rejoin American lines.

This collection consists of a tabloid-sized story paper entitled The Young Men of America dated August 23, 1888. It contains a number of serialized children's stories, including Davy Crockett, Jr., as well as factual articles, letters to the editor, and advertisements.
Theater Playbills
This collection consists of Broadway playbills from the early 1920s into the 1960s; the collection also contains playbills from other theaters around the country, including the Shubert Theater in New Haven, Connecticut, the Barter Theater in Virginia and the Bijou, Carousel, and Staub theaters of Knoxville, Tenn., some of which date as far back as 1890.
