These three papers were presented at the Symposium on Technology, Society and the Common Good: The Energy Question held at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville on October 29-30, 1979.

It discusses war bonds, intramurals, class pledges, banquets, and fraternity members joining the Army. The paper originally belonged to Warren Wilson of Atlanta, Georgia.

It was printed and published for students while the University of Tennessee operated the Summer School of the South from 1902-1918. Its first issue published in 1909. The newspaper contains articles, advertisements, and classifieds pertaining to the Knoxville area.

This collection consists of a letter written by Theodore Roosevelt addressed to Charles W. Dabney, the President of the University of Tennessee and the Civil Service Commissioner of the U.S. Department of Agriculture under President Grover Cleveland.
