The Normans describe Tennessee Tech's efforts to house and accomodate returning WWII veterans and the conditions in which the small school worked to honor their veterans.

Written in 1984, the letter is nine typed pages and includes a hand-drawn map. Accompanying this letter is a secondary letter (a single typed page) written by Laing in 1988 with additional information.
