Donald B. Heffron Papers
This collection consists of a photocopy of Donald B. Heffron's handwritten, personal account of his World War II experiences as a Marine Raider. The manuscript begins with his last few years in high school and ends circa 1946. Also available is a press clipping from The Knoxville News-Sentinel, part of an advertising supplement in the September 6, 1998, issue on Townsend, TN.

Dwight H. Stuckey Collection
This collection consists primarily of correspondence between Dwight H. Stuckey and World War II fighter aces John Alden Tilley, Daniel J. Zoerb, George Carpenter, and Gil Niceley. In these letters, the pilots recount their memories of their military service. Also included are signed biographical sketches of pilots Major General Ralph Gordon Taylor, Major Robert W. Moore, and Marion Franklin Kirby.

This collection includes photographs, maps, papers, newspapers, documents, booklets, and other publications kept by Brig. General Dwight L. McReynolds during his service in World War II (European Theater) and shortly after.
Earl S. Wilson Memoir
This collection is the World War II memoir of Earl S. Wilson, particularly Wilson’s time training in 1942. The manuscript is a 21-page typed document, made in 1987. The memoir begins with Wilson’s entry into the service in July 1942 and follows him through the end of the year; he recounts stories of his training at Camp Wolters, Fort Leonard Wood, and the University of Kentucky. Wilson later served in the Pacific Theater of War, though this time is not covered in this manuscript.

Earl W. Quintrell Papers
These papers consist of two December 1944 action records for the Destroyer USS Edwards made by the ship's Commanding Officer, Earl W. Quintrell. Also included are his typed answers to a 2002 questionnaire from a researcher, and a letter to the National Archives where copies of the action reports were sent.
Earlene Aytes Tennessee POW Camps Collection

Ed Merkel Memoir
This autographed memoir, entitled "My Last Mission", describes Lieutenant Colonel Ed Merkel's time as a B-17 pilot and German POW during World War II, particularly from May 1943-July 1945.
Edgar C. Wilson Papers
This collection consists of two pamphlets distributed to United States and Allied troops during World War II. The U. S. War Department distributed the first of these booklets to American troops newly arrived in England to provide them with an introduction to English culture. The second pamphlet was given to all Allied troops and highlights various aspects of Paris nightlife and tourist attractions.
Edgar Wilson Collection
This collection houses a published history of the 80th Division detailing its training and combat experiences, several photos of a veteran's reunion, a photograph of Edgar Wilson, and correspondence documenting veterans' associations. One memoir recalls Captain Sam Williams.
Edgar Wilson WWII Reunion Scrapbook
This collection houses Edgar Wilson's scrapbook documenting a 1992 reunion of the 2nd Battalion of the 319th Infantry (nicknamed the Wreckin' Second). The scrapbook contains primarily letters and flyers showing the planning of the event, which took place in Pigeon Forge and Knoxville on May 14, 1992, and photographs from the reunion. Also included is some information on the battalion's history.
