This collection features 18 photographs and one postcard depicting various activities of the 74th General Hospital during World War II.

This collection houses four issues of the Shell And Flames, a quarterly newsletter distributed to members of the 137th Armored Ordnance Maintenance Battalion Association.

This collection is that of Albert F. Tramposch, Staff Sergeant of the 529th Fighter Squadron stationed in China during World War Two. The years spanning this collection are from 1942 to 1946 and contain diaries, photographs, memorabilia, pamphlets and booklets, publications, maps and personal military files.

This collection consists of correspondence written by Alice Boehret during her service with the Army Nurse Corps during World War II. Boehret wrote almost daily letters between 1942 and 1946 to her family, mainly her sisters and mother, and document her time in the European Theater of War, particularly with the 74th General Hospital.

This collection includes five issues of The Excrowderlite News, a publication for service members who were stationed at Camp Crowder, Missouri during World War II. These issues date from 1983 to 1985. The newsletters include member updates and addresses as well as photographs and recollections written by members about their time at Camp Crowder.

This collection contains military documents and photographs from Boyd Porter who was deployed in the European Theater during World War II with the 253rd Armored Field Artillery.

This collection is a copy of a typescript document published by the U.S. Army Eighth Armored Division with descriptions of recent silver and bronze star medal awards. Published August 2, 1945, the eight-page document details the actions of 31 service members and their award of either the silver or bronze star medal. Included is William C. Schmidt, awarded the bronze star medal for “heroic achievement in connection with military operations against the enemy in Germany on 4 April 1945.”

This collection contains materials related to U.S. Army veteran Buford Harper’s experiences in World War II in the European Theater. Included are photostats of articles, correspondence, club membership cards, snapshots, and postcards.

This collection consists of 39 letters written by Carl Bretz to his parents during World War II. Bretz served in the United States Army and was stationed in the Pacific theatre during the war. His parents lived in Pennsylvania. The letters document his daily life as a soldier in World War II writing to the family back home.

This collection features two letters written from Carmichael Bohnson to his aunt Alice - one during his enrollment in the United States Army Air Force at Vanderbilt University and the other from his time spent in the Military Intelligence Service in Washington, D.C.
