This collection contains a 1945 Memorial Day services pamphlet, Forty Fifth Infantry Division, a Forty Fifth Infantry Division patch, and The Story of the 180th Infantry Regiment.

This collection houses one letter from Captain Thomas A. Walker, superintendent of the Memphis branch of the Freedman's Bureau, to Captain C. H. H. Clark. Walker answers an accusation that black troops in his district have been engaging in brutality and robbery, giving evidence of their innocence.

One handwritten letter dated May 8, 1822 from Thomas Appleton in Springfield, Tennessee to James B. Williams in Bean Station, Tennessee. Appleton discusses his travels from Clarksville, Tennessee to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and back.

This collection contains one letter, dated January 12, 1816, from Thomas D. Brantingham to John Sanders, both of New York. Brantingham discusses property he has for sale, including land in Tennessee warranted by John Sevier.

Lord Elgin wrote this letter to acknowledge Captain Hall's previous thank you note for a cast of the sculpture on the Temple of Theseus at Athens that Elgin had recently donated to the British Museum.

This collection consists of an account book belonging to Thomas McCalley that documents his financial activities from 1844 to 1865.

Thomas C. McInturff wrote this letter to his father in East Tennessee from Camp Crawford in Vicksburg, Mississippi on February 19, 1863. In it, he discusses his and Sam's health, asks his father to settle some affairs on his behalf, complains that the food and the weather are both very poor, and states that he believes that Vicksburg is the nastiest place on earth. A notation at the end of the letter indicates that it was written by a friend B. F. F.

This collection consists of a letter written by Thomas Charles Morgan to an unnamed woman, dated June 28, 1817. The letter was written in French.

These two land grants gave Thomas Coffman and his heirs 375 acres of land in Jefferson County, Tennessee. They describe the locations of the land and are signed by Governor William Carroll.

This collection houses photographs, deeds, genealogical charts, maps, and articles documenting the McMahan family of Sevier County, Tennessee during the 19th century. The majority of the material shows Thomas D. W. McMahan and his immediate family.

This collection consists of a typed copy of Thomas Doak Edington's diary which he kept while serving as a Captain in Company A of the 6th Tennessee Volunteer Infantry (USA) during the Civil War. In it, he discuses his unit's movements, camp life, his health, battles, the weather, foraging for food and supplies, drills, pickets, and administrative tasks. This transcript also includes a forward by John F. Edington and a list of the members of Company A still living as of November 15, 1917.

This collection consists of Thomas E. Miller's memoir titled "A Story for My Grandchildren." The memoir provides several details about his experiences as a child in Grand Rapids, Michigan as well his experience in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Also included in the memoir are post-war stories of what his life was like after the war.

This Thomas H. Benton Letter, 1818, to the St. Louis Circuit Court brings suit against Adam Brown for withholding a payment to Benton. On the reverse side, the court clerk has written to the Sheriff of the County of St. Louis to detain Adam Brown to give a plea.
