Department of History Ph.D. Program Evaluation
The University of Tennessee's Department of History conducted this self-evaluation of its Doctor of Philosophy program in 1975. Among the topics discussed are faculty publications and awards, data on recruitment and financial assistance of graduate students, admission procedures, degree requirements, and the department's future plans and aspirations. Earl Zwingle Collection of University of Tennessee Memorabilia
Earl Zwingle created this collection of University of Tennessee memorabilia. It includes programs for and tickets to such events as Carnicus, Volunteer Vanities, and Aloha Oe, two ballots for All Student's Club elections, and newspaper articles documenting alumni events. The collection also houses several letters to and from Earl Zwingle, Milton Klein, and former University of Tennessee President Joseph Johnson.

Dougherty, Ralph Dunford, and Charles Perkins.
History Department Records
The History Department Records contains records from the University of Tennessee's Department of History, dating between 1934-1970. The collection covers when the history department was part of the Department of History and Political Science, when it split into a single department in 1941, and became formally established as the Department of History in 1946.
History Department Reprints
These reprints, collected by Dr. J. Wesley Hoffmann of the UT History Department, document important scholarship in the fields of History, Classics, English, and Education. Among the major authors represented are John L. Snell, Leo Loubire, and Robert D. Warth. The reprints are arranged alphabetically by author and then by title.
