Office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Research Records
These records document the activities of the University of Tennessee's Office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs (later the Office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Research) between 1970 and 1989. Much of the material shows the office's work with the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC). John W. Prados headed the office during the majority of the time period covered in this collection.

These reports show such issues as building safety, the UT Phone Fraud scandal, safety issues, parking, campus events, technology fees, campus residences, registration difficulties, computer fraud, and lawsuits.
Philomathesian and Chi-Delta Literary Societies Publications and Programs
This collection houses publications and programs documenting the Philomathesian and Chi-Delta Literary Societies at the University of Tennessee from 1850 to 1899. This material includes a copy of the Chi-Delta Crescent (1882), a copy of the Philo Star (1883), the bylaws of the Philomathesian Society (1899), a theater program (1891), and an anniversary program (1850).

Proposal to the Ford Foundation
