Elizabeth K. Rogers Collection
Erastus Edward Strobino Journal
Major Erastus Edward Strobino, M.D. kept a travelogue/nature journal while serving with the Americal Division (23rd Infantry Division) at the 109th Station Hospital in New Caledonia from 1942 to 1943. In the journal, he describes the native flora and fauna on the island, and writes about the indigenous diseases and medicine, constellations, and other scientific and nature-related topics.
Frances Lovelace Collection
This collection documents Frances Lovelace's World War II service in WAVES. It contains copies of photographs, an invitation to the launching of the USS Hitchiti, detachment papers, news articles about Lovelace, and a short manuscript by Lovelace penned in 1973 entitled "Crisis 1973."
Gladys Bonine's "Recollections of One Army Nurse in World War II"
This collection consists of Gladys Bonine’s typed memoir entitled “Recollections of One Army Nurse in World War II.” The 132-page memoir documents Bonine’s service in World War II including her decision to enlist, her training, and her time as a nurse in England.
Grace E. Farley Collection
This collection contains papers documenting the World War II service of nurse Grace E. Farley. Included are Farley's handwritten memoirs (approximately 20 pages) of her wartime service. Also included are 12 photographs; these photographs are photocopies but do included captions and handwritten notes by Farley.

John Worthman Memoir
This collection contains a single copy of John Worthman’s memoir of his World War II experiences as a medic with the U.S. Army. The memoir begins with Worthman’s enlistment in 1942, then follows him through basic training, his service overseas (particularly in France), and back home. The document is 46 typed pages and was written in 1984.

Mary DeLozier Papers
This collection includes two items from Mary Delozier’s service during World War II as a nurse. It contains a Christmastime program and menu from an event at Kennedy General Hospital in 1943; names of officers and nurses, such as DeLozier, are included in the program. Also in the collection is a typescript form for authorized leave dated December 1945 at Fort Bragg; several service members are listed including DeLozier.
Matt Chitwood Collection
This collection documents the World War II service of Matt Chitwood and contains a letter, a photograph of Chitwood during his service, and a newsletter from USS Taylor. The letter, handwritten and five pages in length, was written in 1997 by Chitwood and includes some remembrances of the war and his time at the 83rd Field Hospital, particularly working with German POWs.
