Cecil B. Staley Papers
These papers document Cecil Staley’s service with the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II in the Pacific Theatre of Operations. Included are Staley’s typed accounts of his missions in Japan from December 1944 to July 1945.
Célestin Pierre Cambiaire Letters
This collection contains four letters, typed and handwritten, by Célestin Pierre Cambiaire. Cambiaire sent them in 1933 and 1934 inquiring after academic positions and opportunities, such as asking for recommendations of publishing companies for his work and possible teaching positions. The letters vary in length and topic, but they all demonstrate Cambiaire's desire for involvement in the historical community and his interest in early French and American history.

Chairman of the Faculty (interim university president) Papers
This collection contains materials dating from 1883 to 1887, during which time the University was without a President and the Chairman of the Faculty assumed the presidential responsibilities. The three faculty who held this title were Rodes Massie (1883-1885), Eben Alexander (1885-1886), and Samuel B. Crawford (1886-1887).
Champ Ferguson Leaflets

Chancellor's Honors Awards

Chancellor’s Honors Program, University of Tennessee
The Chancellor’s Honors Program (CHP) is the University of Tennessee’s largest university-wide honors program. Founded in 1985, CHP membership is approximately 5-10% of undergraduate students.
Chancellor’s Staff Meeting Minutes
This collection includes minutes and supporting documents showing meetings of the Chancellor’s staff from their last meeting of 1988 through the middle of April 1989. Major topics discussed include university budget information, campus fundraising activities, admission and retention issues, and announcements of administrative openings at other institutions. The Chancellor under which these meetings occurred was Jack Reese.
