This collection contains three 8 x 10 photographs of Neyland Stadium taken from the west side bleachers during the mid-1960s. These images include interiors of the east and south sides of the stadium as well as sections of surrounding Knoxville.

This collection consists of a letter dated March 14, 1912 from University of Tennessee student Oscar Little Farris to Miss Frizzelle Phillips in Gallay, Tennessee. The letter describes courses at the University, freshman hazing rituals, military drills, and the dormitory.

Johnson may have created some of these records in his capacity as Chancellor of the University of Tennessee's Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis. An additional three boxes of reading files created during Johnson's tenure as President were added to these records at a later date.
