B. S. Williams Collection of 19th Century Knox County Deeds
This collection consists of three deeds created in Knox County, Tennessee, between 1823 and 1836. The first, dated September 2, 1836, records a sale of seven enslaved people between Robert Campbell and Andrew McMillan. The second, dated September 7, 1823, is a deed for land in Knox County between John Rutherford and Richard Monds. The third, dated January 6, 1825, is a deed for land in Knox County between James Blackwell and his wife Elizabeth and John R. Nelson.
B. W. Martin Letter
This collection consists of a letter from B. W. Martin of Harriman, Tennessee, to an unnamed woman, dated July 1, 1897. The letter describes how to take an eye test and lists prices for eyeglasses and watch repair.
B. W. Morse Letter
Sergeant B. W. Morse wrote this 13 page letter to his father from St. Julien, France on November 24, 1918. He assures his father that he is still alive and kicking and anxious to be in the U.S.A. Because Morse was writing weeks after the Armistice, he is able to divulge small amounts of information about his travels and service. He mentions submarine movements and depth bombs, but concentrates on his desire to return home and spend Christmas with his family.
B. W. Webster Photograph Album
This 1860s photograph album belonged to B. W. Webster. It includes pictures of men, women, and children, including one man in a Confederate uniform.
Babyhood of Knoxville Manuscript
This collection houses a manuscript entitled Babyhood of Knoxville written by William A. Henderson describing how the city of Knoxville was founded and how it flourished between the early 1700s and the early 1900s.

Barbara Goddard's Memoirs of Lewis Frelan Goddard
This collection contains the Memoirs of Lewis Frelan Goddard, May 9, 1924 to August 7, 1944, compiled by Barbara Goddard in July 1994. It traces the life of Frelan Goddard with family photographs, certificates, newspaper articles, and correspondence. There are also materials from the family's trip to Europe and about awards given to the family or posthumously to Goddard.
Barnabas Wood Papers
This ledger houses the notes, essays, research, and observations of Dr. Barnabas Wood, a dental surgeon who lived in Nashville before the Civil War. His interests included (among other things) physiognomy, phrenology, slavery, spirituality, morality, botany, and zoology.
Baron Burnham Manuscript Regarding World War I
Baron Burnham (Harry Levy-Lawson) wrote this manuscript for publication in his newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, on December 28, 1917. In it, he applauds the United States' decision to enter World War I.

Baxter James Hodge Papers
The Baxter J. Hodge Papers, 1888-1897, document the early part of Hodge’s career as an architect in Nashville, Tennessee. During these years, Hodge designed several prominent Nashville buildings along with several private residences. This collection contains contractor bids for various projects, formal contracts between Hodge, his clients, and selected contractors, drawings of various projects, and blueprints.
