This collection consists of Thomas E. Miller's memoir titled "A Story for My Grandchildren." The memoir provides several details about his experiences as a child in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as well his experience in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Also included in the memoir are post-war stories of what his life was like after the war.

This collection contains the World War II memoir of Thomas Curtin. The manuscript begins with a letter written to his children explaining his reasonings for writing down his memories of his wartime experiences. The typed memoir is four pages long and focuses on Curtin’s experiences while discovering Stalag Luft III, a prisoner of war camp.
