Clyde W. Bradley Papers
This collection includes the typed recollections of Clyde W. Bradley’s World War II service, including his crash landing and time as a prisoner of war in Germany.
Collection of World War II Letters to Tennessee
This collection contains letters written by various soldiers throughout World War II. The letters are addressed to friends and family living in Memphis and Knoxville, Tennessee. It appears that a number of the soldiers corresponded with one woman in Memphis, June Bacigalupo, between 1941-1946. The letters, written both at home and abroad, discuss little more than base life and various aspects of training.
David C. Laing Letter of Wartime Experiences
This collection contains a letter written by World War II veteran David Laing regarding his wartime experience during the Battle of the Bulge. Written in 1984, the letter is nine typed pages and includes a hand-drawn map. Accompanying this letter is a secondary letter (a single typed page) written by Laing in 1988 with additional information.

In these letters, the pilots recount their memories of their military service. Also included are signed biographical sketches of pilots Major General Ralph Gordon Taylor, Major Robert W. Moore, and Marion Franklin Kirby.
Earl S. Wilson Memoir
This collection is the World War II memoir of Earl S. Wilson, particularly Wilson’s time training in 1942. The manuscript is a 21-page typed document, made in 1987. The memoir begins with Wilson’s entry into the service in July 1942 and follows him through the end of the year; he recounts stories of his training at Camp Wolters, Fort Leonard Wood, and the University of Kentucky. Wilson later served in the Pacific Theater of War, though this time is not covered in this manuscript.

He describes his initial Army experiences during basic training, jump school, and demolition school. He also discusses his combat action, including his part in the Battle of the Bulge, and his role in the Berlin occupation.
